For solo aerial silks, aerial hoop & trapeze-silks: One rigging point, such as an exposed structural beam or truss that can hold at least 1000 lbs or 500 kg.
For static trapeze: Two rigging points that are approximately 70 cm apart, such as an exposed structural beam or truss. The rigging points must each hold 1000 lbs or 500 kg.
For duo aerial silks: A motorized winch is required.
Acrobatic pole: No rigging points are required. The pole is a free-standing pole on a base and stands 3 metres high.
For solo aerial hoop, the minimum height is 17 ft or 5 m from rigging point to floor.
For solo aerial silks, the minimum height is 18 feet or 5.5 m from rigging point to floor.
For acrobatic pole, a minimum ceiling height of 10.5 feet or 3.25 m is needed.
Length of act:
Each act usually lasts between 5-6 minutes, but this can be adapted to suit the specific needs of a show or event.
All acts are choreographed to specific pieces of music which can be adapted to suit the needs of a show.
